20 Best Apartments in Athens

Furnished Apartments in Athens Greece

Seeking a furnished apartment in Athens is not easy. There are a lot in the market but few are well decorated and in nice location. We present you a good selection of these apartments that have been selected by our collaborators.

North districts of Athens

In Kifissia you can find beautiful and elegant furnished apartments for rent. The area of Kifissia is very green, the streets are lined with trees and the area is very residential and many houses have a garden. Neighborhoods like Kifissia, Drossia or Dionysos are further from the center but the houses for rent are more luxurious in a quieter environment and close to the nature.

But it is in Maroussi the highest number of furnished apartments can be found, thanks to the business district of Maroussi where the headquarters of many international companies are.

In the center of Kifissia you can find the ilektrikos (the older line of metro) which goes to the center of Athens and to Piraeus.

Vrilissia and Agia Paraskevi are closer to the French school and the metro station "Doukissis Plakentias". These areas are residential and there are mostly beautiful apartments for rent.

The southern districts

Glyfada and Voula are residential neighborhoods on the south seaside of Athens. Many properties are for rent in these areas and many properties are new and of good quality.

You can find beautiful apartments for rent in all sizes with large terraces and sea views. Prices vary of course depending on the age, the quality of the building, the neighborhood and the street where it is located. Some neighborhoods closer to the center such as Ano Glyfada or Argyropouli are less expensive than central districts of Glyfada and Voula or Vouliagmeni.

A tram is leaving from the center of Athens, and serves the entire coast, and since 2013 a new metro line arrives to the gates of Glyfada. Glyfada has the only golf of Attica. Around this golf course you can find beautiful holiday homes and apartments. The southern part of Athens is known for its beautiful beaches, public or private, where you can swim from May till October! Also, there is a large shopping center with all kinds of restaurants and view on the waterfront, abundance of nightclubs and bar open mainly in the summer.

Finally, a new road built makes access to the airport and the north of Athens much easier and faster.

Living in downtown Athens

Living in the center of Athens is a real pleasure, it can be noisy but it is full of life and charm with its restaurants, bars, cinemas, museums and shops. To rent an apartment in the center of Athens will direct you to the areas of Kolonaki, Hilton, Pangrati, Mets or Rigilis. Also Plaka is able to offer you lovely houses for rent. Buildings are not always recent, but there are beautiful "retiré": top floor apartment with magnificent terraces and why not with a view of the Acropolis, Lycabettus Hill or other historical monuments in the center!

The area that we call "Attica" includes the entire coastal part starting after Vouliagmeni passing through Cape Sounion and going back to the cities by the sea such as Rafina, Porto Rafti. We can find some great opportunities of villas on large lots close to the sea, quiet and yet close to the capital.
